DR. HAWKINS, BEN

ContactDr Hawkins lives in Gainesville, GA with his wife Suzie and their children, Anne, Benny, Jane, and Edward. He joined his Father’s general practice in 2006 and now practices with Dr Sims Griffith, a fellow Pankey trained dentist.
Ben earned a BBA from the University of Georgia and graduated from the Dental College of Georgia in 2006. He began his Pankey training in 2015 and continues to attend courses at the institute regularly. He is also very active in continuing education through his membership in the Atlanta dental study club, Big Sky Tanner study club, and the Hinman Dental Society.
Dr. Hawkins is a member of the ADA and serves on the governmental affairs committee of the GDA. Ben serves on the executive committee of the Hinman Dental Society and is the dental director of the Good News Clinic, Georgia’s largest free dental and medical clinic. He has also served on the board of directors of Northeast Georgia Healthcare System, and currently serves as the vice-chair of the Hall County Hospital Authority. Ben is an adjunct faculty member of the Dental College of Georgia and enjoys covering dental students that rotate through the Good News Clinic.
In his free time Ben enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, hiking, fishing, and time in the mountains.
