LETTER FROM THE BOARD
For over half a century, the Pankey Institute has been providing relationship-based advanced dental education to those seeking to practice and live a better way. In 2023 our educational opportunities impacted the lives of 815 participants through 18 Essentials courses and a full menu of Focus and Mastery level courses. In addition, participants accessed 17 on-demand courses, and three cohorts or Pankey Scholars either completed or started their Scholar journey.
The in-house team at the Institute continues to strive to provide a tier four experience to everyone who walks through the door by giving 100 percent, 100 percent of the time. One Crandon Blvd has enjoyed several updates and we are ready to welcome you home in 2024. Demand for course offerings continues to increase with 20 Essentials courses scheduled for 2024, new Focus offerings, and six outstanding Mastery level courses. Whether you are just beginning your Pankey journey, working your way through the Essentials, expanding your skills through a Focus course, taking a new Mastery level course or challenging yourself to work towards Scholar status, there is something for everyone at Pankey.
Last year our community enjoyed three days of fellowship and learning during Symposium on Amelia Island. In 2024 we hope to see many of you as we return to the Westin Kierland Resort in Scottsdale this September. For many, Symposium has become a hard date on the calendar and this year’s theme is “Tradition meets Tomorrow”.
2023 saw several new Advisors step up to put their hand on the rope, lending support and oversight to an outstanding and dedicated Board of Directors. Our financial picture is sound and we received another squeaky clean independent audit report. Our donors can be assured that the Institute is a good steward of their gifts and donations and we are so grateful for the generosity of so many. Our Visiting Faculty is outstanding with some exciting new additions and continued development of up and coming leaders. Our community has continued to give back in support of the only not for profit institute of its kind in the world and, in an environment where the landscape in advanced dental education continues to shift, the Pankey Institute continues to prosper and flourish.
The future is bright and the vision of the Institute, Creating Masters of Dentistry for Tomorrow, continues to inform our mission of being The One Place for Relationship-based Advanced Dental Education!
