The Pankey Institute Completes Major Renovations To Educational Spaces and Opens 22 Luxury Suites
$2 Million Investment Includes New Teaching Laboratory, Clinic, Lecture Halls And Unique On-Premise Suites For An “In Residence” Dental Continuing Education Experience
Key Biscayne, Fla., Oct. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — The venerable Pankey Institute has been transformed into an all-new destination experience for relationship-driven dentists who seek to achieve excellence in all aspects of clinical dentistry, practice success and personal satisfaction.
The conversion of the 2nd floor into a common “living room” community space surrounded by twenty-two luxury suites with private baths is the most surprising change that alumni will notice. The common area provides a place to relax and socialize, as well as a casual and cozy setting for the evening learning sessions.
“These dramatic improvements to the facility, new technology and ability to reside in luxury accommodations onsite perfectly supports the small group, deeply individualized learning approach that is unique to Pankey,” said Dr. Lee Ann Brady, Director of Education.
The renovations to the third floor feature an all new, state-of-the-art clinic and teaching lab, as well as Becker Hall, dedicated in honor of Dr. Irwin Becker, former Chairman of Pankey’s Department of Education.
“We are particularly excited about our new advanced digital learning space, developed in partnership with Planmeca,” said Dr. Richard Hunt, Chairman of the Pankey Institute Board. “Our collaboration with Planmeca provides their complete digital office solution including imaging, CAD/CAM systems and Romexis software suite, creating a comprehensive digital learning center where clinicians can experience and learn advanced digital techniques.”
