Dr. Jeff Kerst

Dr. Jeffrey Kerst graduated in 2019 from the LSU School of Dentistry with an Honors in Leadership. His first year in practice was spent as a Rover dentist, where he practiced in over 50 different dental locations. This experience led to starting his own practice in Shreveport, Louisiana. While in dental school, he led two dental missions to the Dominican Republic and co-founded Natural Teeth, a non-profit that served tens of thousands of children in 4 different countries by providing oral health education and supplies. Dr. Kerst served as the District 5 Trustee and national Vice President of ASDA, and today serves on the board of the Louisiana Dental Association. He served for 2 years on the Joint Commission of National Dental Examinations and was a test constructor for the National Board Dental Examination. He is a proud Eagle Scout, ADA Success Speaker, Pankey Platinum Alumnus and Fellow of the International College of Dentists, American College of Dentists, and Pierre Fauchard Academy. His greatest joy in life is that his family has been blessed with two toddlers, Robert and Truman, and he gets to practice with his wife, Dr. Allison Haynie Kerst, an ABO-certified orthodontist.
