Welcome to Pankey!
As we launch our 55th year of offering dental continuing education that is uniquely individualized and relationship-based, the two most common questions I get are “Who/What is Pankey?” and “What makes Pankey special?”
Pankey is a community of over 30,000 alumni from around the world, composed of dentists, technicians, hygienists, assistants, and consultants. Created to honor Dr. L.D. Pankey and his tremendous legacy in dentistry, the L.D. Pankey Dental Foundation has grown to touch countless lives, including those of the patients our alumni serve. The Pankey Institute, located in Key Biscayne, FL, offers small group, advanced dental education. Our curriculum covers a wide array of topics, and the foundation is a four-course series we call The Essentials. Our alumni consistently tell us that attending Pankey was the best decision of their careers and credit Pankey with playing a substantial role in the success and fulfillment they have found in dentistry.
There are numerous things that make Pankey special amongst the choices today for dental continuing education, and our unique value comes from our promise to provide so much more than technical information in an environment designed to maximize implementation and change. -Small-Group Learning: Our hands-on programs are never larger than 24 participants.
-High Faculty to Participant Ratio: We have a faculty member for every 5 participants.
-Balanced Content: All of our hands-on programs cover content on technical dentistry, personal development, financial management, and practice management.
-Practicing Dentists as Faculty: Our faculty are also practicing dentists. Many are well-known international speakers who also continue to see patients, have studied at Pankey, and have changed their own practices based on what they learned.
-Close-Knit Community: When you come to Pankey, you go home with a new community of friends and supporters. Your faculty and classmates are just the beginning. We have Pankey alumni across the globe who are happy to support you. Many of our alumni credit Pankey with their closest friendships in dentistry.
