Frustrated by a cusp fractured below the gingiva, or prepping too far sub-gingivally? This lecture will illustrate solutions to these every day dental problems.

In this program clinicians will find valuable information to not just solve those problems, but to also directly enhance their restorative results.

The session will cover all the basics to illustrate how Crown Lengthening surgery WILL improve one’s restorative results. Participants will come away with a clearer understanding of how a surgical intervention might help accomplish improved restorative results. The session is appropriate for office staff and very appropriate for Laboratory Technicians to attend in an effort towards team building.

  1. Understand how to get predictable impressions every time
  2. Understand Biologic Width
  3. Learn why crowns come loose and how to prevent it
  4. Understand causes of red gum tissue around crown margins
  5. Diagnose esthetic and functional crown lengthening including “Gummy Smile”
  6. Communicate well with Periodontist and Laboratory Technician
