Announcing The Dr. Donald C. “Ozzie” Asbjornson Scholarship Competition Winners
KEY BISCAYNE, FL. — July 15, 2014 — The L.D. Pankey Foundation is proud to announce its second annual The Dr. Donald C. “Ozzie” Asbjornson Scholarship Competition Winners. Available to young, dental students and residents to attend The Pankey Institute’s 2014 Annual Meeting. Named in Dr. Donald C. “ Ozzie” Asbjornson’s honor, a giant in the Pankey Family, teacher, mentor, friend and beloved by all, it is truly fitting to have a student scholarship named after him as he was very influential in shaping so many young dentist’s minds. The purpose of this scholarship is to support the dentists of tomorrow and encourage a culture of lifelong learning. Scholarship recipients receive complimentary registration to Pankey’s Annual Meeting in South Beach, Florida, September 18-20, 2014, as well as a stipend for travel.
Recipients are also paired with a mentor throughout the conference. The approximate value of the scholarship is $1,300.
