KEY BISCAYNE, FL, October 14, 2011 – The Pankey Institute announced today that Ms. Ricki Braswell, CAE, President and CEO, was selected as a “Mover and Shaker” by Business Leader magazine for her professional accomplishments and commitment to leadership within her organization. She was one of a select group of South Florida executives that received the recognition this year. The award winners were recognized during a ceremony on October 13 at the Bankers Club in Miami, FL.
“This is an exciting honor for both Ricki and The Pankey Institute. It is a testament to Ricki’s hard work and dedication. We are extremely fortunate to have her at the reigns,” Dr. Nancy Ward, Chair of The Pankey Institute’s Board of Directors, said.

Braswell joined The Pankey Institute in April 2011. For the ten years prior to joining the Institute, she worked in the dental industry, serving as the Co-Executive Director of the National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL), the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology (NBC), and the Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology. Her career is marked by examples of significant business achievement and growth.
