Students of The Pankey Institute do not automatically become members of the Alumni Association when they attend the Institute. Participants in the Institute's educational program and supporters of the Institute may join, however, at any time and renew their membership annually with payment of nominal dues that are designed to cover the costs of printing and delivering the Alumni Directory and other communications from the Association.

Permission is granted to individual members of the L.D. Pankey Alumni Association to use individual addresses in the Membership Directory to correspond personally for non-commercial purposes with their fellow Foundation alumni. Any other use of the addresses or other information contained in this directory, without the express written consent of the L.D. Pankey Dental Foundation, Inc., is contrary to Foundation policy and strictly prohibited. Since many alumni have provided information contained herein in reliance upon the Foundation's policies expressed above, it is hoped that members of The Pankey Institute community will respect the Foundation's intent that the directory be used solely to facilitate personal contact among Foundation alumni. Violations of this policy may result in exclusion from future directories.

Types of Membership

For 2010, there are two categories of membership in the L.D. Pankey Alumni Association.

In 2010, for $695

• You will be listed in and receive a copy of the printed 2010 Alumni Association Directory.

• Your customized practice profile will appear on www.pankeydentist.org.  You will be notified via email one month before your membership expires and again two weeks before your membership is dropped.  This is a public website designed to be accessed by anyone seeking a Pankey-trained dentist.

• Each month, an oral health article for patients will be emailed to you in both Microsoft Word and PDF format.  You may use it on your website, in a newsletter or other mailing, as a patient handout, or as reading material in your reception area.

• You will receive 100 copies of each of these six Pankey Institute published trifolds:

Cosmetic Dentistry that Lasts, Interdisciplinary Dental Care
Healthy Gums, Healthy Body
