The L. D. Pankey Dental Foundation, doing business as The Pankey Institute, is a is a not-for-profit organization licensed in the State of Florida that promotes optimal oral health care through advanced continuing education. With the assistance of individual and corporate donations, we aim to maintain our worldwide reputation of educational excellence.

Your generous support to the L.D. Pankey Dental Foundation will enable us to:

Provide financial tuition assistance to participants in our courses.
Maintain and upgrade our equipment and facilities to keep abreast of the latest technologies.
Provide enhanced faculty training and endow faculty positions.
Increase the scope and quality of the continuing education programs we offer.
Increase dental access to care community programs.

Alumni and friends give to The Pankey Institute for many reasons. Some give to honor a friend in the profession, some give in memory of someone special, others give out of a sense of gratitude to an organization that has so richly affected their lives and careers. Whatever your reason for giving, know that your support makes a difference in the lives of current and future Pankey Institute students, raising the standard of dental care and improving the lives of millions of patients.

Many donors "cut a crown for Pankey" each year, giving the equivalent of a crown fee to the Institute. In 2009 we introduced the Pankey Scholarship Fund to receive gifts intended to make the Essentials 1 course more affordable for more dentists.

Large or small, frequent or infrequent, giving to The Pankey Institute through one of our giving opportunities has great value.

Historically, the Class One Triple Plus Club has been our primary giving society. Joining the Class One Triple Plus Club is initiated by pledging to donate $1,000 per year for ten years. After the first $1,000 is donated, a plaque with your name is placed in on the Triple Plus Club wall of The Pankey Institute. When the entire pledge is fulfilled, a gold seal is adhered to your name plaque. Many Class One Triple Plus Club members donate well past their initial $10,000 pledge.

The Quid Pro Quo Society is an extended giving society using the Triple Plus Club as its cornerstone. There are three levels in the Quid Pro Quo Society:

Benefactor: $25,000- $49,999
Patron: $50,000 - $99,999
Founder: $100,000 and over

All donations to the Pankey Institute are cumulative and are applied to Quid Pro Quo Society membership. Members of the Quid Pro Quo Society are recognized in a position of honor and recognized by a bronze plaque on our Quid Pro Quo wall in the entry hall of the Institute.
