At the Institute, we take adult learners' strengths, differences and challenges
seriously. We've studied how adults learn and shaped our courses to be of
maximum benefit. The difference it makes shows on our students' faces.
A Balanced Mix
By using interactive lectures, group discussion, lab exercises, breakout and
study groups, self-directed learning and Web-based learning
we capture and hold the attention of our adult students.
Our faculty is flexible, responding on a day-by-day basis to the needs of each
specific group. And the one-on-one attention our students get can't be beat.
Visiting Faculty Make The Difference
Every class has at least two visiting faculty that are invaluable in guiding
and assisting students. These faculty stay in the Pankey Lodge with students,
answering questions, presenting evening programs, and acting as mentors.
Many of our visiting faculty will stay in touch with students from their
classes for years afterward; they are truly mentors, guides and friends.
